2 Point House
This project is similar to the 2 point name project below. We had to color it based on which was it was to the point. If it went to the left point it should be colored dark. If it went to the right point it should be colored lightly.
2 Point Name
This project is similar to my one point perspective but it's two point perspective instead. For this one we had to draw two dots at the corners of our paper. Next we wrote our name getting smaller back. Then you had to connect the shapes on the right to the dot on the left and vice versa for the letters on the left.
1 Point Perspective
This is my 1 point perspective project. We had to put a small dot in the middle of the page. Then with flat shapes we had to draw it to the point. Making sure we use a ruler to make even straight lines. So when you look at the shape it's 3D.
Analogus Landscape
This is a Analagous landscape painting. Analagous is when you use three colors that look alike or go together. I used blue, blue-green and green.
Complimentary Landscape
This is a Complimentary painting. Complimentary paintings using two colors directly across from each other on the color wheel. For this painting I used violet and yellow.
Triadic Landscape
This landscape painting is a Triadic painting. Triadic paintings are when the artist paints with 3 colors that make a triangle on the color wheel. So you could either do the primary colors or the secondary colors. Then you can tint, tone or shade the colors. I used the primary color red, blue and yellow.
Monochromatic Landscape
This landscape painting is showing Monochromatic. Monochromatic paintings are painting with one color and then tinting, shading or toning that one color. The color I chose was red.
Achromatic Landcape
This is my Achromatic landscape painting. Achromatic means painting without color. Which would be painting with white, black and grey.
Color Wheel
Our final mid-term project is the Color Wheel. First, you use a compass to make 4 circles smaller than the last one. We had to mix different color to make one color. For example to make violet I had to mike blue and red. Once you have your desired color the you paint it on the triangle piece.
Radial Design
This is my Radial Design project. We had to make overlapping and under lapping designs on a piece of triangle paper. Then using a lightbox grace and flip the design 6 times. Finally we had to color the underlay and overlapping designs, making sure we blend colors in each section.
Visual Words Design
This is my Visual Words Design Project. For this project we had to think of a noun or adjective and either have the subject make the letters or the image forms the letters. I chose to put the word "net" inside of a volleyball net and a volleyball in the air crossing the net. This is also one of my favorite designs we did.
Positive/Negative Shapes
This is my Postive/Negative Design. We had to cut out multiple designs that could either be an abstract or an objective shape(s). Then we flipped them and it mirrored the design. My design is the laughing emoji, poop emoji, the heart emoji and an explanation point. I really liked this project and would do it again.
Positive/Negative Name
This is my Positive/Negative Name project. We had to draw an abstract or objective shape then write our name in it. The letters of your name should be thick and must touch the shape top to bottom. Finally you erase where the letters touch the shape and color/design the space inbetween.
Tessalation Project
This is my Tessalation project. We had to cut out two triangles and make a design on the top right corner. Then trace the design multiple times (on the outside and inside) on the other triangle. Next we cut out the designed triangle and put it up to a piece of paper and traced it multiple times all across the paper. Finally we colored every other shape.
This is my line art project, we had to cover as much as the paper as we could with 5 different lines. Some had to be thick & some had to be thin. The lines we had to use were diagonal, veritical, horizontal, zig zag and curved lines. 8/18/15
